You'll discover a genuine document signed from King Louis XIII himself, at a time rich in events as the siege of la Rochelle,  the non-ending struggles against the Huguenots in the South of France and especially the famous war of 30 years where 2 testimonies are included here.

Imagin to cross a century in the Royal Castel of Versailles, by walking alongside the great King of France Louis XIV edicting his decrees and by dialoguing with his son Louis-Auguste of Bourbon, Duke of Maine, who was also the son of the great Marquise of Montespan, telling you by a direct testimony, the life at the french yard of the Solar King.

Imagin to participate to several meetings and political and military strategical decisions during the reign of King Louis XV, imagin more, to meet the young King Louis XVI, for whom the inheritance of his predecessors will weigh very heaby on his head….

Recover also the main year 1792 by a letter from the War Ministry of Louis XVI, Mr. Servan (himself), preceded by the famous par le fameux Marshal of Segur, just before the events become worser against the KIng and that the Revolution will enter in its terrific period.

Imagin to participate to the creation of the new laws which will revolutionnate our Nation and even the World, especially by a decreee signed by Danton himself. At this new epoch, messages and mails where not only reserved to an elite, but wide-spread to all the citizens of France.

Imagin to participate to the famous campaign of Egypt of Napoleon Bonaparte, to recover a parchment writen and signed from himself to give an important order as General chief, just before his coup d'Etat of the 19 brumaire (november) with the complicity of his brother Lucien and the Marshal Lefebvre where 2 documents are included and attested.

Imagin to recover of the greatest Ministery, the one of the Police and Internal politic, redoubtable by its efficacy, directed by Joseph Fouche, where you'll find 4 letters with his signature (two autograph signatures) + a very nice cover of his Ministery.

Imagin to see Napoleon becomer Emperor, by a national referendum which will designate him as Consul for life, to see a letter of his brother Lucien manage the Policy and Internal Politic Ministery.

Imagin to visit the Ministery of the strangers affairs and to meet there the famous Charles Maurice of Talleyrand, Historical Diplomate of France also Great Chambellain under the 1st Empire who had a considerable role at the Congress of Vienna to preservate the french territory.

Imagin to live in life the 5th campaign of Napoleon in Austria, by a direct testimony of the last Emperor of Holy Empire of Germany Franz, autograph and handwritenn letter to his brother the Archeduke Joseph charged to manage the armies of Austria near Hungria against the Imperial armies of Napoleon. A letter writen at a special moment where the armies of Napoleon came into Vienna and that the King-Emperor had to leave his palast in urgence.

Imagin to see the Yard of Napoleon, his magnificent period, his decline, the invasion of the strangers dirigeants, his comeback of hundred days and his definitif exile.

Live again the period of the Bourbon KIngs of the Restoration of the 19th Century: Louis XVIII and Charles X from which we have superbs autographed documents from themselves with wonderful royal seals, where all the royal magnificience recovers his luxury and his high dignity, the exiled nobles come back in mass in their Castles and Domains, the Dukes, the Marquis and the Counts take back the political power. But the crowd waits up and the revolt rumbles again…

Imagin to make a turn in Bavaria and its famous castles and lakes in compagny of the first King of Bavaria : Maximilian writing to one of his friends.

Imagin the royalty under Louis-Philippe (the King of the french-people) from who we have 2 documents with his signature and you'll see "in procession" many official letters of correspondence between Ministers of France

Imagin the arrival of the power of Napoleon III, the creation of the first stamp of France in 1849, preceded by th famous Black Penny, the first stamp of the World in 1840, see again the courant life in the second Empire, with its gorgeous cancels in name of the Emperor and his Wife Eugenie, especially an official decreel, signed by Napoleon III himself (certified document).

Imagin  the famous count of Metternich, Ambassador of Austria in Paris ; he was so brillant in the dictation of Merimee organised at the Yard of Napoleon III ( he made only 3 faults) and a letter autographed to one of his friend a Duke of Austria.

Imagin at last the end of the 2nd and last Empire and the emergence of our Republic with Paris besieged (governed by the General Trochu) where the letters will only fly away night via air balloon (first "airpost") or the famous revolution of Paris the "Commune" by a real testimony from a shopkeeper of that time living there…

It's this journey in the time that we offer you by looking at this collection.

All those letters and documents are genuine. The most importants have been signed and certified by the greatest experts from Paris in this topic : Mr Sinaïs, Raux, Mrs Demarest and Mr Bodin and Pothion.

We needed several years to build this glimpse of our great History, but it's not without emotion that we have prepared this collection.
